Und ich fragte mich, ob ich nicht dieses Statement in ein Lied verpacken kann. Bisher bin ich im musikalischen eher zurückhaltend mit Politik gewesen. Auch weil es schnell schwer verdaulich werden kann. Also arbeitete ich zunächst an einen guten Text, der nicht belehrend wirkt, aber durchaus die Ironie des Originalzitats behält.

Auch hier griff ich nicht auf altes zurück. Ich probierte, mit welchem Musikstil ich die Botschaft übermitteln kann. Dance/Trance schied eher aus. Etwas total ruhiges und verträumtes? Vielleicht. Melodischer Rock? Hardrock? Dark Wave hatte durchaus Charme.

Unter allen Fassungen überzeugte mich diese eher ruhige Fassung durch ihre Unaufgeregtheit – und die bringt die Botschaft am besten rüber.
